IMHO a tighter composition(eliminating some sky) in #1 would have better viewer impact.

Could you describe what post processing you did in number 4?? thanks..it is a great shot YES IN DUTCH...... OK but I will try in English. First contrast and saturation plus 10 Then I made a 2e layer. On that layer I did some Caucasian blur. (just try different values - depends on the subject) Then mix the 2 layers. 50% normally give a great result. For the 2 values there are NO hard numbers. A portrait maybe need some more and a landscape some less. Just try!
