Hello to everyone. As you can tell from the subject heading, I live in the East Lansing area of Michigan. In fact, I teach at Michigan State University. I have been into photography since 1975. One of my first cameras was a black Nikon F2A (which is still in near mint condition). Since then, I have accumulated a number of Nikon film cameras (F3T, F4s, F5, F100, N80), Nikon lenses, Nikon Digital Cameras (D100, D70, D2H, D200), Leica film cameras, and some Canon. Most of my work nowadays is done digitally, with the film processing being handled using Aperature 1.5 on an Apple G5 2.0 dual processor system (400 GB harddisk). The ability to download, modify and print digital prints quickly is something that I find very gratifying.
Finally, lets say that everywhere I go, I take a camera with me. Some of my best shots were unplanned and were possible because I had a camera with me.
