I have had the pleasure of using a variety of Nikon cameras, beginning with the CoolPix E900, the CP990, the CP4500, and the CP8700. I began shooting at night with these cameras, and each generation of Nikon digital camreas added something to the night photo efforts I made. Not only was shooting at night still fun, it was getting easier, with less noise. The CP 8700 was out last night shooting after dark, along with a Canon 350d and I look forward to editing those images today. Nikon has been great fun to work with, and the CP8700 gives me options that the Canon 350d cannot give. Be it the sensor difference, or size, the 8700 does a good job out there in the elements. Some of the work of the generations of Nikon cameras is available at "Night scenes in Spokane." This ongoing project is still fun, and is online at: www.armedrobbery.com/photo/index.htmlJohn D. WOW! Checked out your work and I have to say I just got inspired to do more night photography. I have done night photography once. But it was nothing like your work. Keep it up.
