Hi, my name is Serge and I am a pro photographer using Nikon products. For the longest time I have used F5, although I have used a D2X while working as a photographer for the US Army (7 years). Now I shoot D200, cause I like the weight/size better than D2X. My studios's website is sergykalstudios.comand my photography blog is digitalphotographerblog.comNOTE that both sites are not fully functional; yet, as I am in the process of updating and redesigning... Glad to be a member of this forum and hope to contribute to the discussion. If you have any questions for me, please let me know, and I will answer them to the best of my ability...

Both are very good, with SB-800 giving you a few extra options, mostly used for off-camera control and better multiple set-ups. I use 600 as well - it does just fine, especially if you group 2 or 3 off camera (for studio work) - it then works really fast - good for shooting models.
