Hello Binghamton, Yes we have a lot of great photographers and artists down here. I took a wet darkroom course from a guy named Randolph Bye. He was Is? a great photographer.
I used to pass through "Bingo" all the time. We had a summer place in the Catsjills and I would drive there, and to Bingo to take photos of trains. Lots of train and railroad opportunity up your way.
PS: Nice photo of your daughter. Pretty girl, looks wonderful in the natural light. I have a pair of beauties myself but can't get them to stand still in front of the camera.

Hello, I was originally in the Yahoo group but got a bit tired of the porn posts. Not at all a pro but have a D-70 and D-200. Will this group start a forum on the D2X?
Interested in learning tips and tricks on Photoshop, and developing a good workflow. Regards to all,
Joe R.

Good Morning All,
I was up to NY at B&H on Wednesday and had a minute to watch an impromtu demonstration of an SB-800 on a D-200. Actually walked in during the middle of it and did not see the setup.
How difficult is it to program in all those channels etc. to get it to fire without wires? (I assume the in camera flash triggers the SB-800 as a slave?) Does the D-200 need a special transmittter? Or is it all self contained?
I noticed the salesman adjusting the CSM menu (At least I think it was the CSM menu) on the D-200. Is there a way to fire wirelessly and not use the built in flash? Or at least block it off so I don't get the head on component?
I hope my question is not so obviously simple, but, I am an outdoor landscape guy who rarely used a flash.
Thanks, Joe
