Good Morning All,
I was up to NY at B&H on Wednesday and had a minute to watch an impromtu demonstration of an SB-800 on a D-200. Actually walked in during the middle of it and did not see the setup.
How difficult is it to program in all those channels etc. to get it to fire without wires? (I assume the in camera flash triggers the SB-800 as a slave?) Does the D-200 need a special transmittter? Or is it all self contained?
I noticed the salesman adjusting the CSM menu (At least I think it was the CSM menu) on the D-200. Is there a way to fire wirelessly and not use the built in flash? Or at least block it off so I don't get the head on component?
I hope my question is not so obviously simple, but, I am an outdoor landscape guy who rarely used a flash.
Thanks, Joe
