Just wanted to let everyone know that the new forum is now up. You can view it at www.AllNikon.com. I am asking that everyone switch over to this new one. I know all the posts are on the older forum, but this way all the posts are under my hosting provider, and it is more customized. So when you have time, Sign Up for your username and password and you can get to posting.

Thanks, Chris Contact@AllNikon.com

Picked up this lens for Dog Show (Portrait) Win Photos. Plan to use it from a fixed distance, mounted on a tripod and using my SB800 for supplemental light.

I took a few photos of my dog. The lens seems great. All the specs and reviews I read said it was a "great value".

My first photo with it is at:

This photo was taken with my D50 with the on-board flash.

I plan to do most of my field work with my D80 and my SB800.
